Support For Schools
Educating the heart, as well as the head…practical support that strengthens emotional wellbeing in educational settings.
I work with schools to provide flexible, child-centred emotional wellbeing support that fits into existing pastoral systems and strengthens whole-school provision.
1:1 Coaching for pupils
I offer one-to-one coaching for identified children across the school, providing a safe, consistent space for them to explore emotions, build confidence and develop practical coping strategies.
Where appropriate, I work closely with the SENDCO and key staff to help identify children who may benefit from support.
A triangulated approach
A key part of my work in schools is creating a triangulated support system between:
- The child
- School staff (including class teachers, support staff and pastoral teams)
- Parents and carers
This joined-up, holistic approach helps ensure consistency, clearer understanding of the child’s needs, and more effective support across all environments.
staff support and training
Alongside direct work with children, I also offer:
- Staff coaching – supporting staff to feel more confident in responding to emotional and behavioural needs
- Supervision – reflective support for leaders, as well as staff working with children experiencing emotional difficulty
- Staff training – practical, engaging training tailored to the school’s specific requirements, often focused on developing a coaching approach, emotional regulation, behaviour, anxiety, and improving whole-school wellbeing
