Support For Schools
Educating the heart, as well as the head…practical support that strengthens emotional wellbeing in educational settings.
I work with schools to provide flexible, child-centred emotional wellbeing support that fits into existing pastoral systems and strengthens whole-school provision.
I offer one-to-one coaching for identified children across the school, providing a safe, consistent space for them to explore emotions, build confidence and develop practical coping strategies.
I work closely with Headteachers, SENDCOs and key staff to help identify children who may benefit from support, to feedback on sessions and to assist with implementing any changes.
My aim is to complement and strengthen existing school provision by offering practical, personal support that helps children feel understood, supported and able to thrive - both emotionally and academically..
A Triangulated Approach
A key part of my work in schools is creating a triangulated support system between:
- The child
- School staff
- Parents and carers
This joined-up, holistic approach helps ensure consistency, clearer understanding of the child’s needs, and more effective support across all environments.
Staff Support and Training
Alongside direct work with children, I also offer:
- Staff Coaching - supporting staff to feel more confident in responding to emotional and behavioural needs
- Supervision – reflective support for leaders, as well as staff working with children experiencing emotional difficulty
- Staff training – practical, engaging training tailored to the school’s specific requirements, often focused on developing a coaching approach, emotional regulation, behaviour, anxiety, and improving whole-school wellbeing
